Minimabeleid 2012-2014

Om armoede tegen te gaan en deelname aan de samenleving te bevorderen voert de gemeente daarom al enige jaren een minimabeleid. Dat beleid omvat verschillende maatregelen op gebied van inkomensondersteuning en participatiebevordering. Het huidige minimabeleid moet worden herzien, omdat het Rijk wetwijzigingen doorvoert, omdat de gemeente herziene uitgangspunten heeft die betrekking hebben op het participatiebeleid maar ook de bezuinigingen vragen hierom.

De belangrijkste veranderingen die gemeente Noordoostpolder voorstelt zijn de volgende:

-Om voor minimaregelingen in aanmerking te komen hanteerde de gemeente de 120% norm van het

sociale minimun. Het kabinet heeft bepaald dat dit terug gebracht wordt naar 110%.

-Verlagen van het normbedrag jongeren. Jongeren kunnen een tegoedbon inleveren bij een

sportclub of een organisatie uit de sociale culturele sector.

Deze bon heeft een waarde van €150,00. Het voorstel van de wethouder was om deze bon te

te verlagen naar €100,00. Na onderzoek vanuit onze fractie bleek dat jongeren na deze

verlaging aan veel sporten niet meer kunnen deelnemen. De wethouder was hier niet van op de

hoogte en heeft n.a.v. de vragen hierover tijdens de commissie Samenleving dit voorstel

ingetrokken.

-Chronisch zieken en gehandicapten kunnen jaarlijks een vergoeding krijgen van €500,00 voor

verborgen kosten. Voorstel was om deze jaarlijkse vergoeding er af te halen.

Voor onze fractie was dit onbespreekbaar. Deze mensen hebben amper iets.

Groen Links heeft een amendement ingediend met het voorstel dit bedrag te halveren. Dit

amendement hebben we van harte ondersteund.

-De witgoed regeling (stofzuigers etc.) wordt versoberd en de bruingoedregeling wordt afgeschaft.

Er moet 4 ton bezuinigd worden op het minimabeleid. De eisen worden aangescherpt om bij de voorzieningen te komen. Toch wil de fractie van de ChristenUnie-SGP voor sommige doelgroepen uitzonderingen maken.

Niet iedereen is in staat om zich zelf te redden. We hebben het over mensen, hun bestaan, hun pijn en hun toekomst.
